Since 1985, when his first novel appeared (La Salle de bain), Jean-Philippe Toussaint’s work has been of great importance to me. Over the years, my library has been enriched by its new books – that I read and reread. This photography of his entire work, in chronogical order (spine and fore-edge), expresses “The Passage of Time“, the aging of books of the author and the aging of myself.
